Here’s a great contest idea. Everyone, submit their favorite scene of a movie with Bacon in it. No, I don’t mean police officers you pot smokers, I mean bacon. The wonderful sizzlin pig fat that I love to eat. Come on! Submit ‘em! Oh yeah, an not Kevin Bacon either. Be serious here!

Bacon Wrapped Bananas

Wow, I thought I’d tried wrapping everything reasonable, and definitely unreasonable as well, but Bacon Wrapped Bananas? WOOHOOO! I am going to try these this week and let you know how damn good they are!

Ingredients
  • 8 Smoked Bacon Slices – cut in half
  • 2 Bananas – cut into 1 inch pieces
  • Juice of 2 Lemons
  • 16 Toothpicks
Preparation
  1. Coat banana pieces thoroughly with lemon juice.
  2. Wrap each banana piece with a strip of bacon and secure with toothpick.
  3. Place on a broiler pan.
  4. Put under broiler for about 5-10 minutes or until slightly golden.
  5. Serve immediately.

Mmmmm….. Bacon!!!

I’m starting to realize, I’m not alone. My bacon “fetish” is shared more than I thought. I found out I can become a “fan” of bacon on Facebook! Maxim Magazine has Bacon Porn in every issue, and I recently tried a apple-smoked-bacon and chocolate bar. OMG! It was a different start, but whew! what a finish. Rich chocolate, smoked bacon, after just a few bites I couldn’t help myself but to eat the whole damn thing. And now, I have found a bacon bikini online. WARNING, this image is delicious is many ways.

Whew! I have sooooo got to find me a girl who will let me wrap her in bacon.

Maybe if I started eating low-sodium bacon I could get a girl. Ummmm…. naaahhh, which gives me an idea, coming soon, why bacon is better than marriage! Submit some ides :)

Everything Tastes Better With Bacon – It exists!

OMG! It does exist, the most perfect book in the world. “Everything Tastes Better With Bacon.”  I thought such beauty could not be found in our world. Come on, admit it, everything really does taste better with bacon. I have often said, “I wish I could find a way to bacon wrap that! I’d bacon wrap my girlfriend if she let me.” And now, someone comes up with a cook book based on that concept. I’m in heaven, Hog Heaven to be sure (pun definitely intended.) Check it out at Amazon.
